In the heart of Antwerp, hidden behind a historic façade, lies a place where past and future meet effortlessly. During Antwerp Design Week, Furnitale opens the doors of its unique location and invites you into a world where interior, experience and connection come together.
A duo, two expertises, one vision
Furnitale is the story of two sisters, Ine and Hanne, each bringing their own expertise. Ine from interior architecture, Hanne from sales and marketing. Together, they form a strong combination where creativity and strategy reinforce one another.
Since the transformation of their showroom two years ago, Furnitale has grown into a creative hub for anyone seeking interior inspiration. They guide both private and professional clients, always starting from one clear focus, atmosphere and experience. Whether it is a home, an office or a hospitality project, Furnitale goes beyond interior design.

A hidden gem with a rich history
Their showroom is located in an exceptional setting, the Pieter Pot Chapel, dating back to 1415. Built by the Dutch merchant Pieter Pot, this space has been a silent witness to the city for centuries. Today, the chapel is given a new meaning. Its historical architecture is not just a backdrop, but an essential part of the experience. High vaults, authentic details and the play of light and space make every visit memorable. It is exactly this tension between old and new that makes Furnitale so unique.

Why Antwerp Design Week makes sense
For Furnitale, hosting brands during Antwerp Design Week feels like a natural fit. In an increasingly digital world, the need for physical experience remains essential.
To feel materials, to understand proportions, to connect with the people behind the brands, that is where design truly comes to life. Antwerp Design Week brings this back. It creates an open and accessible setting where professionals and design lovers meet, without barriers, but with substance.

An open HUB for connection
During ADW, Furnitale transforms its showroom into a true HUB. Not a closed space, but a place where people come together, discover and connect.
This is deeply rooted in their DNA. They believe in bringing people and brands together, and in the energy that comes from it.
For this edition, they host a carefully selected mix of brands that complement one another: Reborn Home, Zuiver, Passe Partout, Home of Interior Brands by BOVI & PURE by Jasaco.
Design in dialogue with space
The chapel itself calls for a thoughtful approach. Its architecture is powerful and present, and that is exactly where the challenge lies.
Furnitale chooses not to overwhelm the space, but to let it breathe. Each brand is carefully positioned within the setting, creating a journey of continuous discovery.
Design and history flow together, without overshadowing one another.
A first edition full of anticipation

This marks Furnitale’s very first participation in Antwerp Design Week, making it all the more special. They are looking forward to meeting new faces, expanding their network and immersing visitors in their world. A world where inspiration, hospitality and experience come together. Stepping into the chapel is not just about discovering interiors, it is about discovering a place with a soul.
And that is exactly what makes Furnitale a destination not to miss during ADW.
