The website and related services are operated by:
[Antwerp Design and Decovalley]
Trading as: Antwerp Design Week

Specific activities, tickets, packages, applications or partnerships may be subject to additional terms. In the event of a conflict, the more specific terms or separately signed agreement will prevail.
3. Website use
You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
You must not:

  • Use the website in a way that violates applicable law.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.

  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful technology.

  • Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website.

  • Scrape, copy or systematically extract website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by mandatory law.

  • Misrepresent your identity or provide deliberately false information.

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
4. Information on the website
We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However, event details may change, including participating brands, locations, opening hours, routes, transportation, speakers, schedules, availability and programme content.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event or website without prior notice where necessary.
While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, error-free or continuously available.
5. Registrations and bookings
When registering for Antwerp Design Week or a related activity, you agree to provide accurate, complete and current information.
A registration or booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from us or from the relevant registration or ticketing provider.
Certain events or activities may have limited capacity, eligibility requirements or specific admission conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a registration where:

  • Incorrect or misleading information has been provided.

If Antwerp Design Week cancels a paid event entirely, participants may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
We are not responsible for additional personal costs such as travel, accommodation or other expenses unless expressly agreed in writing.
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
8. Changes to the programme
Antwerp Design Week is a live event involving multiple independent exhibitors, locations, speakers, partners and service providers.
Programmes, schedules, locations, speakers, routes, transportation arrangements and participating brands may therefore change.
Reasonable programme changes do not automatically entitle participants to compensation or a refund, unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise.
9. Independent exhibitors and third parties
Many participating brands, showrooms, venues, restaurants, galleries, transport providers and other partners operate independently from Antwerp Design Week.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Antwerp Design Week is not responsible for products, services, advice, transactions, conduct, availability or commitments offered by independent third parties.
Any purchase or agreement made directly between a visitor and a third party is governed by the terms applicable between those parties.
10. Event conduct and safety
Visitors and participants are expected to behave respectfully and comply with reasonable instructions from organisers, venues, exhibitors, security personnel and service providers.
We may refuse entry or require a person to leave an event where their behaviour is unlawful, unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, abusive or otherwise seriously inappropriate.
Participants remain responsible for their own belongings and personal decisions during the event.
11. Transportation and routes
Antwerp Design Week may provide information or services relating to shuttles, cycling, walking routes, public transport or other forms of transportation.
Routes, travel times and availability are indicative and may be affected by traffic, weather, roadworks, capacity or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Visitors remain responsible for assessing their own mobility, safety and travel arrangements.
Where transportation is provided by an independent third party, that provider may have its own applicable terms and conditions.
12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Antwerp Design Week website and official communication channels, including text, graphics, logos, branding, photographs, videos, layouts, designs and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Antwerp Design Week and is protected by intellectual property law.
You may access and use the content for personal and informational purposes only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or publicly use protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
The names, logos and materials of participating brands, designers, partners and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Photography and filming
Photography and filming may take place during Antwerp Design Week for editorial, documentary, communication and promotional purposes.
By attending an event, you acknowledge that photography and recording may occur in public or event spaces. The use of identifiable images will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and image rights legislation.
Professional or commercial photography, filming or recording may require prior permission from Antwerp Design Week, the relevant venue or participating brand.
14. User-submitted content
If you submit photographs, text, testimonials, feedback or other materials to Antwerp Design Week for publication or promotional use, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide that content.
Any licence granted to Antwerp Design Week for the use of such content should be governed by the specific submission terms or agreement communicated at the time of submission.
15. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Antwerp Design Week is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the website, participation in the event, changes to the programme or actions of independent third parties.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Visitors remain responsible for their own personal belongings. We recommend taking reasonable care of valuables during events and visits.
16. Force majeure
Antwerp Design Week will not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control.
These may include extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, strikes, transport disruptions, governmental measures, security threats, power failures, technical outages, venue unavailability or other exceptional circumstances.
Where an event is affected by such circumstances, we will take reasonable steps to communicate relevant changes and determine an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Antwerp Design Week Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
18. External links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites.
These links are provided for convenience and information. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when necessary to reflect changes in our services, event organisation, legal obligations or business practices.
The version applicable to a specific transaction or booking will generally be the version in effect when that transaction or booking was made, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in Belgium, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules regarding jurisdiction and applicable law.
