During Antwerp Design Week, Interior, Design & Architecture at Thomas More organises a design talk around the theme “Spaces”: a conversation on the impact of spaces on behaviour, interaction and experience. How do we design spaces today that go beyond aesthetics and functionality? How important is context? What role do scenography, service design and user experience play within contemporary spatial design? For this talk, three leading designers with different backgrounds come together. From interior architecture, service design and scenography, Axelle Vertommen, Tomas De Preter and Bruce Van Steenwinckel explore how spaces can shape relationships, strengthen narratives and create collective experiences. They share their perspectives on the interplay between people, environment and systems, while reflecting on the responsibility of the designer in a rapidly changing society. AXIS presents Moonler collection
Moonler
AXIS is a platform that together with Moonler will be presenting a four-day immersive installation from Sunday through Wednesday, devided over two floors and a outside terras with a view over the citypark of Antwerp preceded by an intimate preview presentation on Saturday evening in the cellar of the former Kapitaal building in Stadspark, Antwerp. Rather than a traditional exhibition setup, we aim to create a fully curated design environment where Moonler’s handcrafted furniture and contemporary design pieces shape the entire spatial experience. The location will be completely furnished with our collections, allowing visitors to experience the functionality, materiality and atmosphere of the pieces in a lived-in setting. During the four exhibition days, we will combine design with a refined yet accessible farm to table culinary concept, including a small restaurant setting, bar and natural wine presentation. Guests, clients and visitors will be able to enjoy food and drinks in collaboration with selected natural wine suppliers and winemakers. This multidisciplinary approach reflects our belief that design is not only about objects, but about culture, hospitality and human connection. AXIS is a multipurpose venue located at the edge of Antwerp’s Stadspark. It operates as a day-to-evening cultural living room where music, art, design, fashion, food and drink meet through careful curation rather than mass entertainment. Professionals are invited to discover Morpho by Tomorrowland inside the transformed Montevideo warehouse, a 19th century harbour building reimagined as the new Tomorrowland Headquarters. Designed by Tomorrowland Design Studio, this warm and cinematic environment integrates the Morpho by Tomorrowland collection throughout the interior. It allows visitors to experience the furniture and objects exactly as intended: in dialogue with architecture, materiality and mood. Deep tones, tactile surfaces and sculpted light reveal Morpho’s nature inspired design language in a setting where industrial heritage meets contemporary craftsmanship. A rare opportunity to explore the Montevideo site and experience Morpho in its most immersive and magical context.

Artek and Kree are proud to present an exclusive retrospective tracing the history of Artek's most iconic works. Founded in 1935 by Alvar Aalto and part of the Vitra portfolio since 2013, the fFinnish brand Artek has shaped design history with landmark pieces such as Aalto's Paimio Chair, the Domus Chair by Tapiovaara, and the Karuselli Lounge Chair by Kukkapura. Artek's collection also includes contemporary designs by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, as well as a collaboration with the Italian design duo Formatasma, who created the "Forest Collection".
