For its second edition, Antwerp Design Market returns to the Waagnatie halls on the Scheldt waterfront. 150 specialist exhibitors from across Europe present a selection of 20th-century design: furniture, lighting, decorative objects, jewellery, luxury leather goods and vintage accessories. The format follows a simple logic: each exhibitor brings their own eye and their own selection. No imposed aesthetic, no uniform staging. Documented editions sought after by collectors sit alongside pieces by anonymous designers. It is this coexistence between established and discovered reference that defines the market. The visit is open and unstructured. Experienced collectors, amateur connoisseurs and first-timers move through the same space, with equal chances of finding a gem. Antwerp Design Market works within the codes of a flea market while maintaining genuine rigour in the selection of exhibitors. BACK ON THE WATERFRONT The first edition confirmed the enthusiasm from exhibitors and visitors alike. Returning felt like a natural progression. For this second edition, the market aligns with Antwerp Design Week: a natural fit for an event that is becoming a fixture in the city's design calendar.
